Hi , My 140 is cleared. But my consulting company is smaller. I am in search of job, some marketing companys were asking me to change employer..... confused whether to stick with my employer OR change to a new employer.

I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge but I am not an attorney.
Your case fall in family based 2A preference, the PD date on which is July'02, which implies people in your situation who applied in July'02 are being adjudicated. So obviously, thats not an option for you, if you want to come immediately.
You child can come here on vistor visa. The issue you will run into is that even though visa can be granted for 10 years but she cannot stay for longer than 6 months at a stretch and some months gap before re-entring in the USA.
Second option is writting to consulate and department of state to issue visa on compassionate grounds. Issuance of such visa is rare but they are there. You probably will need to show extreme hardship and very few (even attorneys) are in position to advise you on this matter.
So my suggestion will be to go to your nearset consulate and discuss the matter with consulate officer/visa officer.
I and my spouse both have green card. We have a kid who was born in INDIA. He has not visited USA till now. The kid is about 2 years.
We are planning to bring the kid by end of this year to USA.
So what visa should we apply for him we are not sure :confused:

I am not aginst the OP or generalizing the B1 abuse. I am stating my opinion of what could be the reason behind the denial. You know, now a days even people are getting 221g for the H4 stamping. It does not matter what visa you are going for, the US consulates just looking for a execuse to reject. Not only in India, there are lot of people getting 221g in Canada, and got stuck up there.

I beg to disagree on this thought:
I think in the above scenario, they do not invalidate your H1. You can continue till the end-date on the H1, even though it was approved based on pending I-485. I suggest you consult an attorney on this specific scenario.
You can work on h1b - you will get H1b based on existing approved 140 and pending 485.
If 140 is revoked by employer you may get a RFE or NOID or in rare cases erroneous denial but you can continue on h1b while you respond to RFE or NOID oor through MTR to erroneous denial.
Sending AC21 docs does not necessarily mean you may not get NOID - AC21 docs seldom go into your file.

A divorce will not benefit anyone. Think about all the time you spent with each other as an investment. A job, and a little independence should not change your attitude. Think of the kids futures what they have to go thru. Its a total loose loose.
If you absolutely have to go thru with the divorce. Find a US citizen or maybe a GC holder who will be ready to marry you right after the divorce. Then you don't have to go out of the country. Or else reason with your husband to hold off on the divorce till GC.

Her H4 is not valid. She did travel to India without an approved AP.
Can we cancel her GC application and bring her back on H4?

Verify your G-325 application form properly especially the employment history you provided. My wife also got the similar RFE early this year due to technical error that we made in G325 form. (My wife applied for H1 but she did not worked through that company mean while she got her EAD then started working for another company, Which voided H1-B, In G-325 we mentioned that she was working from July 2007 but her H1 is valid from October so Officer might have thought that she worked illegally for 3 months) .
We provided w2's, pay stubs and amended G325 etc to prove that she did not worked on her H1 or illegally.

We verified the submitted G325, all the info related to my work in US is up to date, only thing i can think of is that i missed filling the portion where it asks about details on Last employment abroad. I have filled that part as well now.
As per my attorney, it could also be that they might have misplaced my G325, hence asking for all this info.

Whenever a baby is born, the umbilical chord is cut and a clip is put up in the baby's navel end with the umbilical chord part extending out. In a matter of few days the external portion will heal and fall off.
This is then taken to a goldsmith who in turn stuffs this into a small golden (or silver depending upon one's capacity) and seals them air tight (mind this air tight) using fire. this is then tied along with a thread and is generally worn around the hips of babies.
Maybe our ancestors knew that this part of tissue might help in healing some disorders for the babies. Who knows better than them. Many of us indians would have worn this without much aware of its importance.

Yesterday AC 360 interviewed Senator Corny, and others including Laura Bush, all of them mentioned how upset they were to see Mex Flags, Spanish version of national anthem, and more importantly, disrespecting US laws and waving foreign flag.
THey mentioned that it may not before September any decsion on CIR is made, one of them said he is doubtful anything will pass this year at all on Immi reforms. Laura was highly sympatheitc for legal immigrants and their wait in line and she said legal immigrants will be the first preference.
I guess, the Immi Debate is basically divert people attention on IRAQ, Rising GAS Prices, Low Bush Ratings... and Democrats want to churn it to their advantage.
I am not sure if any of you are watching AC 360 at all... it was there last night around 9.30 Pacific time.

Again your LC approval has no direct connection with what you are being paid currently. LC is for future job so I find it unlikely that DOL will factor your current salary in any way. They may consider your employer's ability to pay the stated salary on LC based on their finacial situation but your current pay stub should not matter.

I have a stable job( non-engineering) and I am making a decent salary(more than 200K/year) right now but I just hate my job.I desperatly want to change my field.
I am hoping to get my green card next year( PD 06/2004 NSC EB 2 India).I need your advise on how to get into computer/software/IT field.
I do not have an engineering background but am willing to go back to school. I would like to start working on this transition while I wait for my GC.
My questions are -
1- Is there a shortcut of getting into any computer/software or related field ?training,short courses, anything!
2- If I have to go back to school what major will I need to take? Any specific requirements?
3-I have a bachelors but not in engineering- can I go straight for a MS in a computer related field or will I have to do a bachelors in Computers first.
4-How's the current job market and and also if you have any idea/view about future job scenario?
