The culprit being subjected to Gandhigiri (Gandhi-ism: A strategy to win unjust,corrupt mind by highly unexpected pleasant deeds.)has some shame and self respect.If the target is a moron, he would slap you to death, no matter how many chances you give him.
In our case we don't even know who the culprit is (USCIS/DOS/Capitol Hill/Anti-Immigrants/Lobbyists). The only thing that would come out of these flowers is a security alarm. I know many would take this as a negative approach, but this is the most logical outcome of this action.
On a lighter note, if sending flowers/fruits would have won hearts of the immigration officers, imagine how easy GC would be for those illegal immigrants who work on the farms.

If you use AP you enter the US as a "parolee". (Is that how you spell it?).
If you use AVR I believe you enter as an H1B. I would prefer to enter as an H1B
since I have not yet used my EAD or AC21.
To clarify - are you suggesting that it is advisable to use AVR if you have both AP and AVR, and you have not used EAD or AC21 so far. Also, my spouse and myself could be returning at different times in to the country from Canada. Does this change the preference of using either AVR or AP. Since I am the primary applicant but of course we plan to land together.

It would be more effective if not effecient. You need not wait until the year end to issue visas, visas can be issued using a mathematical model which would allow old PD filers to get a visa ahead of others as soon as his case comes in and other criterias are fullfilled. Basically no one needs to wait for filing I485. People with old PD will get visa numbers first as soon as they enter the application.

Got the email today(Aug 11) saying 'Card production ordered' for both of us.
Don't know yet whether it is for 1 or 2 Year.

Take a second opinion,
I had similar situation with my close friend here.
I was with him when he underwent the surgery, Once Doctor came out of surgury he told me (as I was the only one there and his family was in India) that my friend just had 6 months to live, But later found out that was treatable through chemo and radiation..This was almost 4 years ago, My friend is totally recovered and he got the GC year back and he is working in Mid-west.
So don't lose hope in GOD.

I think you need to do a reality check on your leadership and mobilizing skills. The reason you cant find even 10 people who support your ideas should tell you something. You have to convince people who oppose your ideas in a logical way, so they see some sense in what you are trying to achieve. If you cannot convince people who oppose you with logical answers you wont find much support as a community from IV. I think people like eb3_nepa have every right to question your actions and intentions and if you cannot respond to healthy dialogue, dont expect people to support your cause. You have to give respect to gain respect.
I personally support your cause about FIFO processing but you need to broaden it beyond EB2 to the entire EB community. It seems to me you have managed to gain such a notorious reputation that people are opposed to anything you have to say :) Its like a HR hiring manager saying to you, you are brilliant but you dont have the right attitude, so we dont need you.

I totally agree on EB3 to EB2 porting but the PD should be the day he qualified as EB2 not the original date of EB3 which makes sense.
This way everyone is happy.
People who have done Masters (EB2) should get the GCs first. :) ...Relax dont give me a red for this. I already had enough.

People (including me have already sent the flowers to be delivered on the 10th.
So please do not change these dates, since that would look very awkward.
I have read in a few places that we plan to send flowers on 11, and 12th also?
If that is the case then the document has to be updated to include those dates. Also, I suggest collecting emails and fax numbers and assigning a few people to do the actual "sending". This will make it easier to coordinate.

Correct me If I am wrong
out of 45K members let's assume 22.5 K are EB2 and 22.5 K are EB3.
Even If 11.25K (EB2)+11.25K (EB3) = 22.5 K (Total) contributes $25 Each Problems gets solved ... but the catch is ....
Even 11.25 K EB2 members are not contributing because they don't have to as their problem is solved

If the employer still chooses to fight, he has got more to loose than me because of non payments of wages also being involved here. since non compete has been used just to escape the wages, courts wil be more hard on the employer and will consider it as threat rather than genuine.

I applied 485 on July2nd 2007, we never got the FP notice, I called up the USCIS inquiry number, opened two service requests, nothing happened. My lawyer sent a letter asking USCIS to look at our case, that was ignored as well. We finally got an Infopass appointment and went to the office today, after a little bit of confusion, we were told that the most likely cause was that we sent pictures along with our EAD applications and that confused CIS procedures and they missed sending us FP notices.
Cant believe this crappy explanation, but this is what we were told. We were told that usually they call people in for FP and take the pictures and then process the EADs. Anyway, it took all of ten minutes to figure this out and issue us an FP notice, there is no reason they couldnt have done this over the phone...
Good thing though is that not having the FP done does not stop then from processing the Name check and infact my wife's name check has been completed..
Hope that helps...
